Betreff: Recruiting data analysts for replication and reproduction studies in social-behavioral sciences

Colleagues -- If your network serves social or behavioral scientists, please consider circulating this announcement to them. Warmly, Brian

----
The SCORE project started in 2019 to investigate the credibility of published claims in the social-behavioral sciences (http://cos.io/). Already, more than 1000 researchers have contributed to planning, reviewing, and conducting almost 500 reproduction, robustness, and replication studies. We are now in the final phase of data collection and need your help to complete this massive project.

We are recruiting researchers and data analysts across the social-behavioral sciences for three remaining projects: (1) reanalysis of original data to reproduce original findings, (2) conducting replications with existing data that was not part of the original study, and (3) reanalysis of original data with alternative analysis strategies to assess robustness (the Multi100 project).

You can participate in any and all of these, individually or as a team.

For a reproduction study, you will select an original finding to reproduce, receive or find available original data and code, plan the reanalysis, follow a structured protocol, report your findings, and receive $100 - $4,800 for each reproduction and eligibility for co-authorship on the report of all reproduction studies. (Get more info.<https://tracking.cirrusinsight.com/3212cf84-8ee3-4900-a2f8-b6ce006af13d/cos-io-score>)

For a replication study, you will select an original finding to replicate, receive or find alternate data to test the original claim, plan the reanalysis, receive review of your plan, report your findings in a structured format, and receive $3,000 - $7,800 for each replication study and eligibility for co-authorship on the report of all replication studies. (Get more info.<https://tracking.cirrusinsight.com/3212cf84-8ee3-4900-a2f8-b6ce006af13d/cos-io-score1>)

For the robustness project, you will select 2-5 original findings, plan and conduct your reanalyses, report your findings, and receive compensation for your contribution and eligibility for co-authorship on the Multi100 report of robustness studies (Get more info.<https://tracking.cirrusinsight.com/3212cf84-8ee3-4900-a2f8-b6ce006af13d/cos-io-score1>)

The final phase of recruitment for this project is now through February. Following this, we will transition to completing the investigations and writing the final reports.

Join us!

Sincerely,
The SCORE team
