<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><i><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Der Ruf nach Forschungsdaten, die leicht aufzufinden sind und zur Nachnutzung zur Verfügung stehen, wird immer lauter. Nicht nur Forschungsförderer achten zunehmend
auf die Nachnutzbarkeit von Forschungsdaten. Auch wissenschaftliche Communities und Forschungsinfrastrukturen stoßen immer häufiger Projekte an, die darauf abzielen, Forschungsobjekte auffindbar, zugänglich, interoperabel und wiederverwendbar zu machen. Zwischen
den einzelnen Projekten herrscht großes Synergiepotential. Dieses bleibt jedoch in der aktuellen hochdynamischen Entwicklungsphase häufig unausgeschöpft. Hier setzt die Initiative GO FAIR an.<o:p></o:p></span></i></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">GO FAIR bietet einen Knotenpunkt für Personen, Projekte oder Organisationen, die sich für einen erleichterten Zugang zu Forschungsdaten engagieren. Koordination und
Unterstützung liefert dabei das internationale <b>GO FAIR-Büro an den Standorten Hamburg (Deutschland), Leiden (Niederlande) und Paris (Frankreich).</b> Am Hamburger Standort ist das Büro an der
<b>ZBW – Leibniz-Informationszentrum Wirtschaft</b> angesiedelt. Hier betreuen drei Mitarbeiterinnen die Mitwirkenden:
<b>Monika Linne (Referentin national)</b>, <b>Ines Drefs (Referentin international)</b> und
<b>Katharina Kriegel (Mitarbeiterin Öffentlichkeitsarbeit)</b>. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Ziel von GO FAIR ist es, mittels eines Bottom-up-Ansatzes einen Beitrag zur Umsetzung der auf europäischer Ebene geplanten „<b>European Open Science Cloud</b>“ (EOSC)
zu leisten. <b>FAIR</b> steht in diesem Kontext für Forschungsobjekte, die „<b>findable“, „accessible“, „interoperable“
</b>und<b> „reusable“ </b>sind. Zur Umsetzung der FAIR-Prinzipien und als Wegbereitung für die European Open Science Cloud bauen wir zurzeit ein
<b>Netzwerk aus länder- und disziplinübergreifenden Implementierungsprojekten</b> auf, so dass Synergien geschaffen und redundante Arbeiten vermieden werden.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Im Mai 2017 traf das
<b>Bundesministerium für Bildung und Wissenschaft (BMBF)</b> mit den Wissenschaftsministerien der Niederlande und Frankreichs eine Vereinbarung, die Entwicklung der European Open Science Cloud voranzutreiben und die Initiative GO FAIR zu fördern.
