<p class="MsoNormal">das Internationale Unterstützungs- und Koordinierungsbüro der GO FAIR-Initiative lädt Sie herzlich zum „<b>Germany goes FAIR“-Workshop</b> am

<b>15. Mai 2019</b> nach <b>Köln</b> ein. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Ziel der GO FAIR-Initiative ist es, <b>Forschungsdaten</b> zukünftig unter Anwendung der FAIR-Prinzipien

<b>gemeinsam nutzbar und wiederverwendbar zu machen</b> – mittels offener und bottom-up-orientierter Strukturen und unter Einbindung aller Forschungsbereiche. Koordination und Unterstützung liefert dabei das internationale GO FAIR-Büro an den Standorten Hamburg

 (Deutschland), Leiden (Niederlande) und Paris (Frankreich). Am Hamburger Standort ist das

<a href="https://www.go-fair.org/countries/map/germany/">Büro</a> an der <a href="http://www.zbw.eu/">

ZBW</a> – Leibniz-Informationszentrum Wirtschaft angesiedelt. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Die FAIR-Prinzipien formulieren Grundsätze, welche die nachhaltige Wiederverwendbarkeit von Daten maximieren.

<b>FAIR steht für Findable, Accessible, Interoperable und Reusable</b>. Um das Wissenschaftssystem mit diesen Prinzipien auf allen Ebenen zu durchdringen, sind Anstrengungen auf verschiedenen Handlungsfeldern notwendig. Innerhalb der GO FAIR-Initiative werden

diese als GO CHANGE, GO TRAIN und GO BUILD bezeichnet. GO CHANGE zielt auf den kulturellen Wandel ab, der die FAIR-Prinzipien zu einem funktionierenden Standard in der Wissenschaft macht und die diesbezüglichen Belohnungssysteme reformiert.

 GO TRAIN beschäftigt sich mit der Aus- und Weiterbildung der erforderlichen Datenexpertise. GO BUILD befasst sich mit der Konzeption und Umsetzung technischer Standards, Best Practices und interoperabler Infrastruktur(-komponenten).<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Im Rahmen des Workshops werden wir Sie über <b>Ihre Beteiligungsmöglichkeiten an der GO FAIR-Initiative</b> informieren, denn Sie haben innerhalb der drei Handlungsfelder die Möglichkeit, in Implementierungsnetzwerken miteinander zu kooperieren

 und ein „Internet of Fair Data and Services“ mitzugestalten. Um diese Kooperationen in die Wege zu leiten, werden wir im Workshop drei Arbeitsgruppen einrichten, welche auf die Inhalte von GO CHANGE, GO TRAIN und GO BUILD ausgerichtet sind. Hierbei ist es

 uns ein Anliegen, die <b>aktuellen Entwicklungen und tatsächlichen Bedarfe Ihrer Fachcommunities</b> zu erfassen, um im Anschluss konkrete Maßnahmen entwickeln zu können, welche Sie bei der Umsetzung der FAIR-Prinzipien unterstützen sollen. Diese Prinzipien

 werden sowohl beim Aufbau der Nationalen Forschungsdateninfrastruktur (NFDI) eine wesentliche Rolle spielen als auch Voraussetzung für die Aufnahme in das Portfolio der European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) sein.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Ihre Arbeit in den Arbeitsgruppen können Sie auch nach dem Workshop fortführen und vertiefen. Hierzu planen wir regelmäßige Workshops, die speziell auf die drei Handlungsfelder GO CHANGE, GO TRAIN und GO BUILD und die FAIR-Prinzipien fokussieren

 werden.<o:p></o:p></p>
